I think it’s harder to get OUT of the grad school/high intensity profession wheel from time to time than it was to get and keep it spinning. I mean, even cleaning the damned fish tank is hard for me, considering that was 20 minutes where I might have found two more articles for my dissertation or graded some papers…

On self employment I hear you loud and clear. Just this… if you don’t want to do this forever don’t do it very long. People who are self employed rapidly become worthless as employees for anyone else, and that’s even discounting the discriminatory jaundice with which business owners are viewed by Corporate Entities.

So basically, there’s no go back so you might as well maximize those pros!

It makes the bar at the bottom of the screen twitch. Took me forever to figure out this happens on all the snowy sites I visit and isn’t a problem with my computer. Pretty though… at least for those of us in warm climes.
