At least I have the satisfaction of waking up in my own bed. The worst nightmares, though, are the ones where I have been sent BACK to Basic. Even when I wake up in my own bed, it takes me a minute to remember that no, I really don't have to go back. It’s like Basic Training in the military – I’ve been out for years, and I still sometimes have nightmares about it. At least I have the satisfaction of waking up in my own bed.

In college, I used to have nightmares that they made me go back to high school; after college I had nightmares just like the one you described about law school. Then I worked at this awful company, and when I got a new and better job, I dreamt that I was back working at that awful company. So I graduate law school, and I think I'm going to have the kind of nightmares you're having, but no. I still have the dream where I'm back working at that awful company.
