Now I can forgive Burton and Depp for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I finally got around to seeing Sweeney Todd. Wow, just wow. I love Tim Burton’s atmosphere for this move (I usually do love his choices). Depp handled the vocals quite well, especially considering that it is a bit of a tricky score.
The movie lived up to my expectations and I may even buy the soundtrack even though they didn’t use the complete Sondheim score. I’m definitely snatching this up on DVD when it comes out.
